Margo's Ana Homework

All kinds of fun, distracting, triggering exercises to help you kill time.

Pictures aren't the only things that make me not want to eat!

Math
1. There are 3500 calories in one pound. How many calories do you have to burn before you reach your upcoming goal weight? How about your ultimate goal weight?

2. Measure yourself and calculate your waist to hip ratio. (Waist divided by hips)

3. Measure the waist of your desired size jeans. How many inches must you lose?

4. Calculate your BMR.
655 + (4.35 x weight in lbs) + (4.7 x height in in) - (4.7 x age in years)

5. Using your answers from problems 1 and 4, determine how soon you could reach your ultimate goal weight if you consumed:
a) 1200 cals/day
b) 800 cals/day
c) 500 cals/day

6. Calculate how quickly you would reach 200 lbs if you ate 500 cals/day above your BMR

Art
1. Draw a picture of a pretty girl on a sheet of notebook paper. Using a small ruler, figure out what her proportions would be in real life (apparently, all my drawings are girls 5'2"-5'7" with waists between 15" and 20"!)

2. Choreograph a dance to a song with empowering lyrics.

3. Make yourself an ana bracelet, but be prepared to answer questions about it (why is it red is a popular one)

4. Write a poem about:
being fat
being thin
why eating is gross
your thighs
the change that's happening in your body (as you lose weight)

5. Find a particularly unflattering picture of you. Glue it to a magnet to stick on the fridge, in your locker, etc. Under the picture it should say something like "Don't get fat again!" I got this idea from a friend of mine and have such a magnet on my fridge (my roommates swear I must've stretched it, but I really was that fat)

Technology

1. Go on fitday.com and make out a meal plan for the next few days.

2. Create your own pro-ana site, complete with your favorite thinspiration and motivations.

3. Go to landsend.com and make a virtual model of yourself at different weights.

4. Create your own food diary on a blog site such as xanga.com

5. Get a diet buddy and email them everyday.
